What's up with everyone on the Marlins bandwagon again this year? And the Twins have essentially 2 rookies hitting in the 3/4 hole. Bold predictions indeed.

I think a "small market" World Series is a bit of a longshot, but I have this gut feeling that the big Red Sox/Yankees rivalry will burn each other out this year.
The Mariners might be a bit of reach, but I think you need to throw one "what the hell" pick in there -- and the M's definitely qualify. Lots of things need to go right for them to fulfill this prediction (specifically they have to keep their young arms healthy).
I like the Twinkies, but I think the AL Central will be pretty competive. I would normally have major problems with having rookies (or more accurately "near-rookies") in the heart of a contending lineup, but I have an extremely high opinion of those guys. They're both studs.
